Following a request from RNW Media, the Académie was present in Kigoma, Tanzania, to train 36 journalists and bloggers from Burundi. From December 14th to 18th 2015, Alexandre Capron, journalist for the Observers at France 24, led a workshop on fact checking techniques on the internet.
A second consulting session was held between France Médias Monde and the Tunisian public television network (ETT) on December 8, 2021. The meeting co-chaired by Académie Director Antoine Cormery and ETT’s Awatef Dali, focused on validating the program for the upcoming six months of the joint European-Tunisian project that seeks to modernize ETT.
The Académie organized a training session in sports coverage from 21 November to 2 December 2021. France 24’s sports journalist Selina Sykes supervised the training of a dozen radio and television journalists of the Qatar Media Corporation. This year’s training aimed to better prepare the journalists ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the first such tournament in the region.  
The Académie hosted five Iraqi journalists from the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) for a two-week training in Paris between October 31 and November 13 2021. In partnership with the French Embassy in Baghdad, France 24’s reporter Mayssa Awad and Académie’s Van Meguerditchian trained the journalists in live stand-up, reporting and mobile journalism. 
The Académie returned to Botswana for a two-week training of BTV journalists in Gaborone. France 24’s Mark Owen supervised the training on news presentation and stand up. The training took place between 11 and 22 October 2021 as part of an agreement between France 24 English and Botswana.  
The Académie organized training sessions for the executive board of the Andorran public television channel (ATV) from 16 to 20 August 2021 in Andorra la Vella. France 24 Television Channel’s Executive Director Nicolas Clerno spearheaded a training to finalize the right choice of studio for ATV’s news bulletins.
The Académie organized a training session for the Senegalese public broadcasting company (RTS) earlier this month to help with the restructuring of its news bulletins. Upon the request of RTS, the Académie sent France 24’s Mathieu Strazel to Dakar for this first training mission on improving the network’s workflow. The training was held in Dakar from 1 to 4 July 2021.  
The Académie launched the joint European-Tunisian program that seeks to modernize Tunisian public television network. Hosted by the Antoine Cormery, the project manager and the director of Académie France Médias Monde, the project’s first meetings took place in Tunis from 21 to 25 June.
With the support and collaboration of the French Institute of the French Embassy in Tunis, the Académie organized a webinar on mobile journalism for 25 Tunisian journalists on the 30th of November 2020. The webinar was held on the occasion of the Académie’s publication of 25-episode videos on mobile journalism produced by Zohra Ben Miloud of France 24 and Marc Etcheverry of RFI.
Iraqi journalists from multiple media outlets took part in a 4-day webinar hosted by the Académie France Médias Monde from 23 to the 26th of November 2020.
